Geek+, the global leader in AMR technology, is proud to be returning to the LogiMAT logistics trade show (31 May–2 June, 2022) to showcase its latest award-winning autonomous mobile robot solutions. This will mark the European debut of Geek+’s revolutionary PopPick and RoboShuttle8 solutions, the future of tote-to-person and goods-to-person operations.

As the pace of e-commerce continues to accelerate and the demands for efficient supply chain management and high-capacity warehouse operations grows, the supply of labor and storage space is feeling the squeeze. Automation by robots presents a variety of approaches to respond to and get ahead of these issues. Geek+ developed PopPick to transform what a picking station can be by maximizing storage space utilization and throughput capacity while reducing costs by 50% and making the working environment more comfortable for warehouse personnel.

PopPick represents the future of warehouse management, with fleets of autonomous robots fetching goods from storage racks and bringing them to warehouse personnel at a central picking station. The solution can handle 650 totes per hour per station and can link up with a 4-way shuttle to enable super-dense storage. The PopPick workstation, itself built with integrated robotics, uses robotic arms to hand the goods to the operator in a position best suited to their body, further removing the need for unnecessary bending, reaching, and straining that can produce injuries. This not only increases efficiency and accuracy, but also creates a more ergonomic working environment.

In addition to PopPick, Geek+ will also showcase RoboShuttle, an AMR system that also enables super-dense storage by employing robots capable of reaching far higher and faster than humans can. This allows every inch of warehouse space to be productively used without compromising on safety. One key component of the RoboShuttle system, the RS8-DA, will be hard to miss: It is the tallest AMR on the market, able to reach shelves of over 8 meters in height.

Both PopPick and RoboShuttle integrate AI that organizes inventory according to the popularity of goods: The most in-demand goods are automatically placed on lower, more easily accessible racks during off-peak hours, greatly saving time and improving efficiency.

Geek+’s European team at LogiMAT will explain the features of the PopPick and RoboShuttle solutions to visitors and meet with clients. Additional Geek+ AMRs at the show are the two systems’ respective partner robots, P800 and P40, the material-handling MP1000R moving robot, a bestseller for manufacturing scenarios, and many more. Geek+ looks forward to showcasing these forerunners of automated goods-to-person operations at Booth D51 at LogiMAT.
