What’s the most exciting thing about your job?

There are two, closing a deal and seeing the finished result with a happy client.

Who has inspired you most in your career?

I don’t think there is one person, I try and take the good bits from lots of different inspiring people.

If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?

The WMS, it knows everything.

If you had your time again, what would you do different?

I would have pushed myself harder when I was younger.

What’s your favourite pastime?

Sport (unfortunately as a spectator these days) and socialising.

Do you play a sport, follow a sport or support a team?

I don’t play anymore but yes I’m a big football fan and a season ticket holder at Leicester City.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened in your career?

It would definitely have to be driving to the wrong airport for a European business meeting!

Do you have any hidden talents?

Well, If I do they are so well hidden, I cant even find them!

Who would be your favourite party guest?

Alive, Tyson Fury. Dead, Winston Churchill.

What is the greatest luxury in your life?

A Swiss watch or two.

If you won the Lottery, what would you do?

After taking care of family and friends, probably get a couple of holiday homes. One on the South coast and one in the Mediterranean.

Who or what makes you laugh?

Stand up comedy always makes me laugh.

What’s your dream holiday?

Probably a beach holiday on a Greek Island with no mobile reception.

What’s your favourite music album?

I don’t have one favourite, my music taste is very eclectic.

What’s your favourite movie or Netflix series?

My favourite film is Once upon a time in the West. As for Netflix Series, it’s got to be Peaky Blinders.

What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?

Never stop building your network, align yourself to a mentor(s), work hard and try and identify the things that work and develop them.
