Tough question, I would have to say my dad. Looking back now I can really appreciate the sacrifices he made and the opportunity he gave me in being the first from the family to go to University. He believed in me and I miss him so much.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened in your career?

Easy one this, I had an interview with a company some seventeen years ago and was living in Newport, South Wales. The interview was in Taunton and I thought that it was close to Bristol so gave myself an hour to get there. When I got to Bristol and saw the sign for Taunton being 59 miles away – I arrived 2 hours late. Not a good first impression, however I must have done something right as they offered me the job! Not something I would suggest to anyone in the market to try now!
