LAC Conveyors & Automation, part of the LAC Group, have been awarded the exclusive rights to sell and promote a wide range of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) designed and manufactured by Prime Robotics.
Prime Robotics are a leading edge technology company in the area of versatile and agile AMR technology, headquartered in Denver, Colorado (USA). Prime Robotics have proven their worth in the United States by saving warehouses facing the dilemma of “automate or die”. Their impressive range of innovative products include AMR’s to transport shelves and pallets, plus the new self-driven inventory shelf.

The demand for automation has significantly increased during 2020. The coronavirus pandemic caused a manual labour shortage, coupled with the change of consumer buying habits, caused ‘overwhelming’ demand within the logistics industry in particular. More and more businesses are questioning their current processes and looking towards automation and robotics solutions, to be able to meet the flexibility of changing customers’ demands.
Plans are in the making to open a demonstration centre in the UK which will enable customers to experience a fully functioning automated warehouse solution in person. The centre will distribute real products and feature pick stations, multiple rack combinations, Prime Robotics AMR range plus LAC’s conveyor systems and automation solutions.
