No one could have foreseen the significance of our partnership with Independent Ambulance Companies (IAA) in 2019 on 27 September. Yet, a year on and a severe health crisis that no one could have predicted, our fuel cards have been saving members of the IAA up to 10p per litre on diesel and petrol pump prices.

Alan Howson (Executive Chairman of the IAA) underlines the importance of our support when he says: “We have found our partnership experience to be both positive and beneficial. We and our members particularly value the support and tailored approach provided by Mark Checksfield, at FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS.”

Mark is the Sales Manager at our Whitstable office and is the IAA’s dedicated account manager. He says: “During the past six months, the independent ambulance sector has been busy. I’ve made myself available to all members especially during this time, seven days a week, whatever the time.”

Going that extra mile for his clients is all in a day’s work for Mark. For the past two years, his clients have appreciated his consultative approach and dedication to matching fuel card solutions to suit their organisation’s needs.

In helping the emergency responders, Mark offers an initial, free no-obligation invoice analysis to all members, showing them where savings can be made and offering best -practice advice.

He says: “I compile specific reports for many of the companies based on invoices received. The report includes suspected fraudulent drawings, premium fuel usage and other charges incurred so that the customer has the complete picture relating to their actual fuel costs. The reports are tailored to individual company’s needs and provide the basis for a true comparison of fuel costs, services and availability.”

Mark reports that the average saving on invoice analysis across independent ambulance providers using FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS in the past 12 months is 8.85% on over 760,000 litres of fuel purchased using our fuel cards. That’s a massive saving for members.

There’s no account set-up fee for IAA members. The fuel cards are issued at half price, a saving of £6 per card, which includes a discounted card guard insurance against misuse. In addition, and as a welcome, there’s up to £250 credit on the first invoice.

We can also guarantee that when using a FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS fuel card, there are no transaction charges, network service fees and no hidden surcharges, costs that other suppliers may add to a bill with every refuel. We don’t do that.

Alan Howson is emphatic about the importance of our partnership: “FLEETMAXX has delivered on every level for the IAA and our member companies. I recommend them without reservation.”

During this health crisis, our group has been helping more than 50,000 customers in all types of industry. These organisations include HGV operators, hauliers, essential service operators, plumbers, builders, electricians, entrepreneurs, transport managers, fleet operators, sole traders, owner drivers and start-up companies that are keeping this nation on its feet.

BP, Esso, Shell, and Texaco sites as well as supermarkets (fuelGenie), independent retailers and specialist diesel networks, such as Keyfuels and UKfuels accept FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS fuel card range.

Our parent company is Oilfast Ltd, who are a substantial bulk fuel, lubricant and licensed Adblue® distributor. For IAA members, AdBlue is available for delivery to all members in quantities of 1,000-litre Intermediate Bulk Containers or a pallet of 50 by 10-litre containers for easy transportation. These solutions are, on average, 50 per cent cheaper than the pump price or the price of the container on the forecourt.

As a FLEETMAXX SOLUTIONS customer, you will always talk to your dedicated account manager, like Mark, who really knows you. Other benefits include 24/7, secure online account access which means that the whole process can be paperless and admin-free.
