BID Group Ltd were the chosen driving force behind a recent Klimate High Speed Door installation for a bus depot in Derby.
Klimate Ardent oversize doors were just the ticket and installed to replace the original roller shutter doors that had suffered wear and tear, wind, and impact damage. The Ardent Oversize highspeed door is a fair size and specifically designed for use in larger external locations, recommended for openings up to 10 meters wide and 6 meters high although larger bespoke sizes are available.
The Ardent doors installed at this busy depot are wide and high to accommodate the height of the passenger buses and to allow enough room for the buses to approach at an angle due to the layout of the depot.
During the day, the site is in continual operation with internal and external areas handling a variety of movements. BID Group’s qualified engineers took the wheel and steered the way to ensure the installation was completed with minimum disruption to the daily coming and goings of the buses.
