HB Commercial, the vehicle service, parts, rentals and sales group have added a further consignment of Krone Box Liner container carriers to their rental fleet which, say the company, establishes them as the largest single provider of Krone Box Liners in the UK.
Based in Ipswich, with fully equipped workshop and support hubs in Harwich and Felixstowe and a further parts supply centre in Witham, HB Commercial is strategically located to service the busy commercial vehicle traffic flowing through each of these major ferry ports.
“We were among the first to use Krone’s new Box Liners.” Says HB Commercial Operations Director, Oliver Brunt. “Because of their flexible loading and ability to easily handle tough, pick-up-and-drop ferry work, demand over the last couple of years has far exceeded our initial expectations.”
Manufactured by Krone in Germany, the Box Liner was designed with close involvement from the Krone UK sales team – primarily to ensure compatibility with the UK and Irish market. The sliding chassis is quickly and easily adjusted to carry any standard sized dry freight or tank container and its no-frills specification ensures easy and fast operation.
