Since 1986, Luxonic’s passion for designing and manufacturing energy efficient lighting products has seen the company deliver their portfolio of lighting and controls solutions to some of the world’s most innovative businesses. Proud to bear the ‘Made in Britain’ marque, Luxonic are a Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier who embrace sustainability, energy saving and LEAN Manufacturing. All the company’s products are manufactured in the UK at their Basingstoke HQ to the highest UK quality standards.

Luxonic design and manufacture lighting products for most applications. While any business can claim to be an expert in their field, Luxonic has proven its worthiness of such a title over the last three decades.

Customers such as Associated British Ports (ABP), Peel Ports, Forth Ports, ASDA, Tesco, Amazon, The Hut Group and Pets at Home certainly prove the company’s credentials in the logistics sector.

Luxonic’s products are specifically designed for use in warehouses, distribution centres and large retail stores. Available with DALI controls or with the more flexible and sustainable LUXLINK® wireless system, Luxonic products are designed with class leading efficiency in mind, hence the large energy cost savings achieved for customers such as ABP Ports and Pets at Home.

Luxonic replaced ABP’s high Pressure Sodium luminaires at Port of Hull with their flagship product, HI-MAX®. In conjunction with a wireless controls system, this resulted in a staggering 96% energy cost saving.

This lighting system has since also been rolled out at ABP Immingham. Luxonic also played their part in Pets at Home winning an ‘Edie’ energy saving award, with their lighting system facilitating a 55%, £2.9m per year energy cost saving over 440 stores.

Luxonic recently joined the Glamox Group. The Glamox Group is a global organization with an annual turnover of £260 million (2018), employing approximately 1550 employees in North and South America, Asia, and in several European countries. The combined product range and 105 years of lighting expertise which Luxonic and Glamox have at their disposal ensures that customer needs and expectations can be met and exceeded.

Anyone attending the UK’s largest logistics exhibition, IHMX 2019, is most welcome to visit the company’s stand, 6D175, and discuss their current or possible future lighting requirements. In addition to talking about and displaying products, staff will be able to calculate approximate energy cost savings possible within a specific installation space and discuss funding, grants and tax relief with visitors. Visit Luxonic at IMHX 2019 on stand 6D175.
