ELOKON Holding GmbH has appointed Micha? Makaruk as the new CEO of its Polish subsidiary ELOKON Polska Sp.z o.o., which is one of the four international branches of this supplier of safety systems for MHE and machinery. Based in Warsaw, Makaruk is responsible for the development of the company in Eastern Europe with a focus on consolidating the company’s position as a supplier of safe automation technology, expanding the product and service portfolio and strengthening its intralogistics division. Thanks to many years of international management experience, Makaruk, a trained mechanical engineer and economist, will also further promote the internationalisation of ELOKON. In addition to Makaruk, Markus Kusiak and Mariusz G?owicki, long standing managing directors of ELOKON, will continue to manage ELOKON in Poland.

Micha? Makaruk has previously held various leadership roles in sales, project management, production and operations management in international packaging and automotive sectors. “Our aim is to support our customers as product processes are transformed by robotics, automation and digitisation to ensure the optimum safety of the workforce and equipment,” he said. For Alexander Glasmacher, Managing Director of ELOKON Holding GmbH, Makaruk’s decades of international management experience perfectly complement the company’s expertise and strategy: “With him on board, we will be able to align our market offering even more consistently to the needs of our customers”, said Glasmacher.
