A multi award-winning company which has been servicing the graphics industry for more than three decades has successfully expanded with the support of Spaciotempo.

Warrington-based Foilco, which offers a range of hot stamping foils for all sectors, urgently required additional storage space to house its stock.

To meet the increased demand, it initially leased a permanent building on the same industrial estate as its head office.

However, operating a dual site proved to be both inefficient and costly so after 12 months Chief Executive Officer David Hornby decided to seek a more suitable solution.

David explained: “Foilco was expanding quickly and we knew we had to act fast if we were going to win additional contracts and successfully deliver on them.

“We operated on two sites for 12 months which wasn’t effective either in terms of cost or time. We also ruled out investing large sums of money purchasing another permanent building.

“That left us with the task of exploring alternative options which is where Spaciotempo came to the fore.”

David contacted the UK’s leading temporary building specialist and explained that he required a 200sqm insulated building in order to protect and store his products.

The team came up with a design to fit Foilco’s bespoke requirements and the Neivalu was installed on the company’s car park within a matter of weeks. The building measures 10m wide x 20m long x 5m at eave height and features electric roller shutter doors.

David added: “Spaciotempo couldn’t have been more helpful and the team even took us to see a temporary building it had installed at Skelmersdale in West Lancashire. Seeing what the building was capable of in-situ convinced me that it was the perfect solution for us.”
