Espex Batteries UK Operations Centre in Barry, South Wales, was officially opened on 6th July 2018 by Mr Gautam Chatterjee, Managing Director and C.E.O. of the parent company Exide Industries Ltd., India.
The modern warehouse and office facilities were acquired by Espex and fitted out bespoke for the battery business, giving the company more scope for expansion, superior stock space and stock management facilities and professional new offices that reflect the company’s ambitions.
The 15,000 sq ft warehouse can hold up to 30,000 traction cells and associated parts and accessories, truly making Espex the first choice for forklift battery orders on any scale. In addition the 10,000 sq ft concrete floor open yard and 5000 sq ft office space overlook the Bristol Channel, creating an atmosphere perfect for meeting customers and offering the highest levels of customer service.
