Having acquired the majority stake in Manchester based business The Battery Group earlier this month, Triathlon® Battery Solutions has established a UK base for its expanding business.
With existing, state of the art facilities in both the US and Germany, Triathlon® was keen to further strengthen their global position by entering the UK market. After working together on previous projects and identifying a number of synergies, Triathlon® saw The Battery Group as an ideal partner for the UK and the deal was done.
The Battery Group has now become Triathlon® Battery Solutions UK and plans are in place to develop another state of the art facility in the UK; strategically placed to service the whole of the UK. Triathlon® Battery Solutions UK is managed by co-directors Matthew Stevenson and Thomas Burgess.
Commenting on the recent buy out Matthew said “Triathlon® are one of the leading companies in the battery industry. They have a flagship research and development facility in Germany and decades of experience and technical expertise. We are very excited that The Battery Group has become part of the Triathlon® family.”
