Visitors to the RTITB exhibition stand at the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX) in September discovered how LGV and materials handling training can improve safety, maximise efficiency, reduce operational costs and boost ROI.

“With so many visitors to our stand, being part of IMHX 2016 proved to be extremely valuable,” says Laura Nelson, Managing Director of RTITB, the preferred workplace transport training regulatory body. “Our expert team had countless conversations with all different kinds of businesses about the benefits of our approach to delivering our bespoke LGV and materials handling training solutions.”

Laura continues “It was also fantastic that so many people were interested in discussing our international awards and opportunities for in-house driver competitions. It shows that there are numerous companies that are keen to recognise their valuable logistics talent.”

In addition, RTITB hosted the heats of the International Forklift Operator of the Year competition at the show, where 40 top international forklift operators competed for a space in the Grand Final of the competition, due to take place in early 2017.

“Workplace transport safety is crucial for logistics sector success,” says Laura. “Hopefully our participation in IMHX and the International Forklift Operator of the Year competition have helped to raise awareness of this important area.”
