Jamie Hartles, Director – Head of Logistics at Tenens, comments:

“Bristol Gateway is an exciting addition to the Howard Tenens portfolio. We are experiencing excellent growth and have a strong outlook for 2016; Bristol Gateway represents a real statement of intent and demonstrates our commitment to catering for the demand in the marketplace”.

Bristol Gateway, developed by National logistics company Howard Tenens, will comprise 169,000 sq ft of modern warehouse space and will include 14 metre eaves, 20 dock level loading doors, two storey offices and a viewing platform.

The unit sits within a further 450,000 sq ft (41,805 sq m) of existing warehousing on a fully serviced secure 43 acre (17.37 hectare) site. Occupants within the estate include Whirlpool and a multitude of Howard Tenens logistics operations, undertaken by a professional onsite logistics team.

The site is located between Junctions 13 & 14 of the M5 motorway and benefits from easy access to the M5, M4 and A38 and connections to the rest of Howard Tenens’ national logistics operations.

The site is alcohol and tobacco bonded to manage associated duty liabilities, and the experienced team onsite provide a wealth of knowledge and experience for bonded customers, as well as catering for logistics operations in the food, drink and retail sectors.

Robert Cleeves, Director of Business Space at Savills Bristol, comments: “This is an exciting opportunity to test the true depth of demand for industrial space in the South West and we are confident that we will have a high amount of interest in this property and are hopeful of agreeing terms with an occupier before practical completion of the build.”

Adrian Rowley of Alder King adds: “This is one of largest estates under single ownership in the South West, where high quality space is ensured and with flexible terms to help attract a range of tenants.”
