To ensure that SDG members offer the best possible service and products, SEMA initiated independent audits of all SDG partner companies earlier this year. Storax Racking Supplies passed the SEMA audit with a score of 94% – Highly Commended. At the same time, SEMA issued new rules (A3006) regarding the conditions that must be satisfied in order to use the SEMA logo on racking load notices. Once again, Storax Racking Supplies satisfied all the relevant criteria.

In May the SEMA Technical Committee arranged for independent lanyard testing to be carried out to EN 795: 1996 type A for any SEMA member company that was prepared to supply their pallet racking for assessment. This was in response to the concerns of some Health and Safety Inspectors about operatives hitching themselves to racking during installations with no proof that it would take the load of a person falling. Storax Racking Supplies provided a bay of SP80 and SP115 pallet racking for testing and both product ranges successfully passed all aspects of the test.

This ongoing attention to quality, service and safety are what Storax Racking Supplies believe has resulted in their trade customers voting them into winning positions in every SDG Supplier of the Year Award that has been held to date.
