Leeds based material handling equipment company Moorgate Forklifts Ltd today announced their partnership with pioneering Lift Truck Technology manufacturer Nexen UK. The tie-up means all of Moorgate’s new fleet of pallet trucks and forklifts will be supplied exclusively by the company’s Lowestoft facility.
Combining state of the art innovations with safety and comfort for the driver, the British manufacturer has recently launched its exciting new X-Range which Moorgate will be supplying to the region. Managing Director Neil Brook sees the partnership as a massive step up for the business:

Having been established in Leeds for over 25 years, Moorgate’s new partnership with Nexen is testament to their growth and development in recent years which has firmly cemented its place as the premier supplier in the region. The company now serves warehouses, manufacturers and other businesses across Leeds, Bradford and the wider areas of West and North Yorkshire.
With an already impressive roster of used vehicles from leading brands like Mitsubishi, Samuk, Toyota, Samsung and Hyster, the addition of the Nexen brand is expected to give Moorgate’s client base an even wider range of choice, ensuring they are better placed to meet the requirements of their customers which include Mercedes-Benz, John Boddy Timber and Calomax.
Nexen’s Lift Trucks are touted as highly efficient with a cooled disc braking system and a large selection of engine and transmission options. With many warehouse and logistics firms tasked with finding ways of becoming more cost effective, such features will be seen as very attractive to Moorgate’s customer base. Moorgate’s MD also believes the Nexen products will greatly increase the company’s flexibility:
