Jane Willis, Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Director of the Cross-cutting Interventions Directorate, will kick off proceedings with a key note address that will chronicle the HSE’s activities in recent months and how they affect small and large businesses that operate fork lift trucks.
Jane will discuss the HSE’s priorities and reflect upon changes in approach and policy direction, as well as prepare delegates for the health and safety changes and challenges that lie ahead.
The Cross-cutting Interventions Directorate is a division of the HSE that supports the design of regulations and national campaigns on health and safety in the workplace.
With policy responsibilities that include transport in the workplace, Jane works at the heart of the matter with both coalition government officials and legislative decision-makers.
She is known for her authoritative speeches and powerful messages on the issue of safety and standards in lift truck operation.
