Flogas is celebrating a successful four day event at IMHX 2013, the UK’s largest intralogistics exhibition, held at the NEC in Birmingham.

IMHX-Flogas

Standing as the leading long-term LPG provider to many of the UK’s largest multinational distribution companies, Flogas showcased its cost-effective, flexible fuelling option for fork-lift trucks, which enables companies to reduce their carbon footprint and save money.

The LPG supplier’s busy stand received a high level of footfall, as Rob McCord, Head of UK National Accounts at Flogas, comments: “We have come away from IMHX feeling extremely positive about the next 12 months. It was a fantastic show which presented us with an amazing opportunity, not only to engage with our existing, established distribution and logistics clients, but to also make new connections.

“With experts on hand offering information about lower carbon solutions and advice around energy savings, the Flogas stand was extremely busy. We are committed to offering tailored solutions for our customers and this show has been a wonderful opportunity to talk directly to key decision makers.

“We also ran a competition on our stand this year where attendees were invited to try and unlock a safe – this proved very popular indeed! We will certainly exhibit at IMHX again – the experience is simply invaluable.”

As well as being a more cost effective and environmentally friendly fuel, LPG offers a number of specific benefits over electric and diesel powered fork-lift trucks. For example, initial outlay is reduced, there is no re-charging requirement and performance remains reliable with a reduction in maintenance costs.
