QTS manufacturer of wire mesh based material handling equipment is set to further expand upon their portfolio, with the expansion into warehouse security equipment by officially launching StorGUARD- a mesh partitioning system at IMHX 2013.

The new modular mesh partition range, which is designed by the Leicestershire company to be both economical and available on short lead-times, can be adapted using a vast array of doors, locks and height options to create a wide number of configurations, including simple dividing mesh partitions to fully enclosed mesh cages.

STORGUARD development comes following the increasing  challenges faced by the  logistics industry to create secure areas within warehouses to protect valuable assets against opportunist crime which can be costly and disruptive to businesses.

To ensure enclosure strength whatever the configuration, the STORGUARD system uses a unique boltless bracket and pin system which is unable to be deconstructed from the exterior. Further strength comes with the utilisation of the reinforced RACKGUARDIAN anti-collapse panels which are constructed using 50x50x 3mm dia wire for universal strength and rigidity.

The move into warehouse security partitioning is a natural progression for qts, who in its 10th year in business, has had extensive success in designing and manufacturing mesh based products for the warehouse and logistics industries; including easySHELF mesh decks and RACKGURADIAN anti-collapse.

Abigail Owen, Commercial Director of qts adds: “The launch of STORGUARD at IMHX comes at an incredible time for qts. We have introduced a number of successful products, each designed to help improve operational safety, efficiency and now security. It’s the first of many new products we have in the pipeline-all made possible as a result of heavy investment since the last IMHX’

STORGUARD will be exhibited at qts’ stand (19K92) along with the full range of easySHELF mesh decks and RACKGURADIAN racking protection equipment.
