Cranleigh Freight Services Ltd (CFS), a leading provider of JIT airfreight road feeder services, is pleased to announce that it has been accredited with Regulated Agent Status by the Department for Transport.

This successful accreditation was gained with the assistance of Jayne Davey of CCSS Limited whom advised CFS throughout the rigorous process CFS is one of only a few British hauliers that operate within Europe, to have acquired this accreditation. The CFS UAI number will replace the previous individual haulier declarations, for the carriage of ‘SPX cargo’.

The accreditation is acknowledgement of CFS’s compliance with DFT requirements and the necessary security regime required for carrying ‘SPX cargo’. CFS operates a fleet of specialist roller-bed vehicles, with level D trained drivers- all tracked via the onboard GPS Fleetboard system.

European Operations Manager, Ben Cox said “the process has been rigorous but very worthwhile. This accreditation gives us further status within the market place and confirms our commitment to both our EU road-feeder services and customers’ security needs.”
