TGW Logistics Group has formed an exclusive alliance with hanging garment materials handling specialist, Schönenberger Systeme GmbH.

TGW’s partnership with Schönenberger Systeme will enable the systems integrator to develop handling equipment for hanging garments and to expand the range of solutions that it currently offers to customers in the apparel industry.

German-based Schönenberger Systeme counts Next, Hugo Boss, H&M, Triumph and DHL amongst its many worldwide customers.

“The state-of-the-art hanging garment conveyor equipment by Schönenberger is an important technological addition to TGW’s materials handling portfolio,” says Georg Kirchmayr, President of TGW Logistics Group GmbH.

“This now enables us to offer our customers in the apparel fashion industry a comprehensive range of solutions, which includes the handling of flats as well as hanging garments.”

In addition to utilising existing equipment, both companies will also work together to develop and market new systems and solutions together. “The alliance gives our customers the certainty that accomplished teams from both companies will combine their expertise to develop optimised material handling systems for projects across the globe,” adds Kirchmayr.
