At this years Foodex show, Impact Handling will be displaying their circle of hygiene on stand E272 in hall 20. This range of products, developed particularly with the food industry in mind, include the new Cat® EP13-20(C)PN(T) range of electric fork lifts, stainless steel pallet trucks from Ulma Inoxtruck, scrubber driers from Hako and Clean Trax ProfilGate matting.
The new Cat® EP13-20(C)PN(T) range of electric fork lifts is designed to operate both indoors and out, whatever the weather. For the food industry this does mean that these trucks can be thoroughly washed down, a significant benefit compared to other electric trucks.
These trucks also lead the way where it matters most, in reliability, durability and cost of ownership. IPx4 splash resistance, IP54 sealed traction and hydraulic motors and sealed wet disc brakes are some of the features that deliver this outstanding combination of performance. With service intervals extended to 1000 hours, routine maintenance downtime is also reduced adding to the value for money from this range.
The stainless steel truck range from Ulma Inoxtruck provide pedestrian pallet handling solutions designed specifically for food operations. The innovative, hygienic design minimises accumulation of dust and dirt and makes all parts of the trucks easy to reach, wash and keep clean. The added benefit of the stainless steel is that it will not rust and is much more resistant to humid and salty environments.
Established in 1924 Hako has built a reputation for the quality and reliability of their range of cleaning machinery. Both ride on and pedestrian scrubber driers are on display, however the full range of cleaning machinery from the German manufacturer is available from Impact Handling.
To compliment the Cat® lift trucks, Ulma Inoxtruck pallet trucks and Hako scrubber driers, Impact Handling also supply Clean Trax-ProfilGate matting, a mechanical system that cleans wheels, rollers and footwear. This device will clear 90% of transported dirt. For the food industry a wet version has been developed that sanitises wheels and footwear, making it ideal for bacterial reduction. Already used by Coca-Cola, Pfizer, Unilever and Proctor & Gamble, Clean Trax is a proven, successful cleaning device.
