Citizen is to launch a new printer at EuroCIS, the leading trade fair for retail technology, which takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany from 28th February – 1st March 2012. The CL-S400DT label printer will be the focal point of a stand that will exhibit Citizen’s full range of label, POS and mobile printers, a series of solutions that enable businesses large or small to benefit from the ability to print fast, high quality labels using machinery that is resilient, easy to use and requires minimal maintenance.
The new energy efficient, eco-friendly CL-S400DT printer is ENERGY STAR® rated, ensuring savings on energy bills without sacrificing performance. The printer is capable of printing at speeds of up to six inches per second, while sleep and standby functions help cut energy consumption between prints. The CL-S400DT can be used either with an external paper roll feed for labels, tags and continuous media, or with external fanfold media for producing larger or longer labels on thicker materials.
Another highlight of the Citizen stand will be the CT-S310II receipt printer, which also comes equipped with unique energy saving features, including three different paper-saving options that dictate top margin, line spacing and font compression to minimise the frequency of paper roll changes. With patented LLP (Long Life Print) technology that can extend the lifetime of the print head up to 200km and a two-million-cycle auto cutter to give long-lasting durability, the CT-S310II is a mid-range printer with high-end features.
