Fowler Welch supply both chilled and ambient distribution working with the major retailers, food manufacturers, growers and importers. Fowler Welch is the second company to recently specify the Labcraft LED ‘Omega’ light in their fleet of curtain side trailers, fitting 3 units in each vehicle. By choosing a light which has been specifically engineered for the market, it not only increases light distribution but also improves efficiency and saves money. How? There will be fewer breakages and bulb replacements resulting in less maintenance and vehicle downtime.
Matthew Sherry of Labcraft has been highlighting the benefits of installing Labcraft LED lighting to Sean Gaynor at Fowler Welch, and has commented, “It is not only the light distribution that is improved but, compared to standard halogen lights, Labcraft LED lights will last well over 10 times longer, but without 10 times the cost, providing a fit and forget lighting solution.
The LED Omega commercial vehicle light has been designed to work perfectly inline with the ‘omega’ style roof strut which is widely fitted amongst the dry freight industry. The unique design allows the light to be recessed into the roof strut or to one side, depending on the orientation of the strut, quickly and easily, providing an affordable and effective lighting solution. LED lighting also uses between 50% and 80% less energy than standard bulbs resulting in fewer flat batteries which can prove to be beneficial in the long, dark winter months.
