Yale Europe Materials Handling has continued to demonstrate its commitment to taking materials handling to the next level through the launch earlier this year of a range of new electric counterbalance and warehouse products designed to provide customers with the best in ergonomics, productivity and energy consumption.

Products launched during 2011 are the MR reach truck, the MO low level order picker and the MO50T tow tractor, as well as the VA, VC and VM series of electric counterbalance forklift trucks.

All six products demonstrate the best in ergonomics to provide the highest levels of comfort for the operator, helping them to remain as productive as possible throughout the shift. Energy efficiency is also at the forefront of Yale’s innovation and new product development strategy. All three counterbalance forklift trucks feature the company’s eLo and HiP performance settings enabling the products to be configured to energy saving or high performance mode depending on the demands of the application.

Yale Brand Manager, Steve Ridgway, said: “During the global economic slowdown parent company, NACCO Materials Handling Group, has continued to invest in new product development and has also most recently invested in a new VNA production facility at the company’s Masate plant and a counterbalance test track at its Craigavon facility in Northern Ireland.

“The company will continue to ensure that new product and people development remains a focus. The result will be people and products focused on providing customers with practical solutions to increase productivity, decrease operating costs and provide a more comfortable environment for operators of Yale materials handling equipment.”

In addition to new product development, Yale has continued to expand its dealer network throughout Europe. Following the appointment in 2010 of Briggs Equipment UK and UST in Russia, this year has seen new the appointment of Horoszcoop KFT in Hungary, Romania and Serbia, Universal-Spetstechnica Kyiv in Ukraine, Di.Pa, G.E.M.I.  and Antonelli Carrelli Elevatori Srl  in Italy and Demolin, Vitamotor, Oman and Mazoyer in France.
