Asda Retail Stores have awarded Toyota Material Handling UK the Asda Retail Store Services’ Supplier of the Year for 2011. The award was presented at the prestigious Asda Brick Awards ceremony in June 2011.
Toyota was selected by Asda for the award not only over their competitors within the materials handling equipment industry but from a much wider area to claim the title of supplier of the year.
Sally Wade, Asda Store Services asset management explains, “Toyota Material Handling UK was awarded the supplier of the year in recognition of their innovation, commitment and willingness to work in partnership with Asda Retail Store Service in Driving Down Costs.”
Trevor Whitehead, Contract Manager for Toyota was delighted to receive the award. Trevor commented: “By working closely with Asda we have been able to demonstrate our industry leading contract management and deliver a consistently high level of performance. We have worked hard alongside Asda to help drive down costs in their materials handling operations and be a reliable materials handling partner”.
