What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
Working on different projects every day and meeting new people with different outlooks on the same problems.
Who inspired you most in your career?
The Bauminator – he knows who he is!
If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?
Champagne or chocolate!
What brought you to this industry?
Chance more than anything – I got talked into it.
If you had to do it all over again, what would you do different?
Nothing specific – things have worked well for me and kept me interested.
What’s your favourite pastime?
Eating and drinking with friends.
What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?
I tore strips off members of the band Blue in an airport lounge for changing the TV over and putting on golf – I had no idea who they were!
Do you have any hidden talents?
They are hidden for a reason!
Who would be your favourite party guest?
I’m torn between someone like Craig David or Colin Farrell who I could drool over for hours or someone like Frankie Boyle (that would make for an interesting evening!) or Russell Howard to keep me entertained….
What is the greatest luxury in your life?
My holidays – I love the Maldives.
If you won the Lottery, what would you do?
Go to the Maldives and not come back for ages…
Who or what makes you laugh?
I love stand up comedy – Sarah Millican’s my current favourite.
Do you have any secret ambitions?
I don’t keep secrets; anyone who knows me will tell you I speak my mind.
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
I think I’ve already covered that one!
What’s your favourite music album?
Way too many to choose from, I have different ones for different moods and frames of mind – that’s the beauty of an MP3 player.
What’s your favourite movies?
Much like music, I have different ones for different things but I have to say Star Wars will forever be up there!
What’s your favourite book?
Bridget Jones’s Diary still makes me laugh, I don’t really read much apart from trashy novels on the beach – well that and RFPs!
Who or what do you detest the most?
Coriander – yuck!
What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?
Be prepared to travel at the drop of a hat, don’t plan on much of a fixed social life and just go with the flow and enjoy it – I have been all over the world and that’s a great experience.
