PALLETFORCE has rewarded its star members at their annual Gala Awards evening.

Members of the UK’s leading palletised distribution network travelled from across the country to London to celebrate at a glamorous evening at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel.

Palletforce hold the awards every year to recognise those members who go the extra mile throughout the year.

“We only work with the top transport companies in the country and the Gala Awards are all about recognising the absolute best of the best,” said Palletforce Chief Executive Michael Conroy.

“Because we are a shareholder network all our members are committed to providing top quality service and ensuring the success of the network.

“There are a few that stand out by going that extra mile over the course of the previous year, and that dedication and passion is what we are rewarding with our awards.”

The award for Sales and Marketing, which recognises significant increase in sales, maintaining business and promotion of Palletforce, was won by Avon Freight.

“It is fantastic that we won this award out of more than 100 depots nationwide, especially as we have a small sales team,” said Julie George, Sales Director at Avon Freight.

“Failing is not in our vocabulary, we have procedures in place and as long as we stick to those procedures it works.

The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll was in the building to entertain the guests with a tribute performance. Guests were also treated to a performance from a Frank Sinatra tribute band and the chance to ride a bucking sheep.

“It was a fantastic evening, full of laughter and plenty to celebrate,” said Michael.
