TOSHIBA TEC has announced its next genrange of heavy-duty industrial printers – the B-EX4 series. The B-EX combines the features and functionality of the established B-SX range with the added benefits of increased performance and operability. This reliable printer offers premium capabilities as a standard, thus lowering initial capital out lay and future proofing investment – a key benefit for businesses in the current financial climate. The B-EX, which is fully compatible with the SX range, is ideal for use in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industries.

Equipped with Ethernet and USB 2.0 as standard the B-EX4 offers the option to include parallel port and wireless LAN capability.

Additional functions to the range include built-in automatic thermal head resolution detection, DHCP address display and an automatic feeding/back-feeding default position. Other features include side opening, double ribbon motor control, automatic centre media loading, near edge or flat printhead, optional ribbon save and basic command interpreter (BCI) compatibility.

Every Toshiba label printer is equipped with the world-class Green technology ribbon saving function and the B-EX4 is no exception.
