BCMPA member Repak, the corporate fulfilment division of the Charapak group, has enhanced its range of outsourcing services with the installation of a heat shrink line.  Supplied by Adpack, the new machine is capable of producing shrink wrapped packs in dimensions up to 430x590x190mm at a rate of 12 per minute.

The heat shrink line has been installed at Repak’s 75,000 sq ft warehouse in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The company specialises in the storage, handling and fulfilment of imported products, offering a variety of repacking and co-packing services. Repak can also call upon the specialisation of its sister company Charapak to produce packaging and display materials, enabling it to offer customers a complete ‘one-stop’ packaging and fulfilment operation.

“We are seeing increasing demand for our range of services,” comments Repak Managing Director Richard Smith.

“In particular, when supplying the retail trade, many companies need the logistical support that outsourcing can provide, in terms of repacking and arranging delivery to meet individual store requirements.

“The addition of this new shrink wrapping facility will enable us to offer customers even greater versatility and flexibility in the fulfilment of their packaging requirements.”

Repak has BRC/IOP for primary food contact and Federation Against Copyright Theft accreditations. Its facility is also HMRC approved for the storage of duty suspended goods.
