In excess of 1000m of Easyguard permanent free standing handrails were supplied by ‘safety at height specialists’ SAFETYWORKS & Solutions, to the site of a major manufacturer of earth moving equipment, based in Leicester.
The Easyguard system was chosen over other companies as it was able to offer a fast track, easy installation process, and system flexibility due to its simplistic design which does not incorporate counterweight components within the manufacture.
The client expressed a desire to install the products themselves, with SAFETYWORKS manufacturing and supplying the system to site. SAFETYWORKS were able to offer a comprehensive service which included their personnel accompanying the single delivery via an articulated lorry and one of SAFETYWORKS own vehicles, and then providing comprehensive on site training on the best and most efficient means of installation.
SAFETYWORKS Easyguard free standing handrails are galvanised to BS/EN 1461 and offer proven durability and simplistic assembly. The base plates are fitted with bonded ribbed rubber mats, which include an EPDM foam infill which in turn, reduces heat transference to the roof membrane, therefore reducing degradation. In addition, Easyguard is a modular, non-penetrative system, which offers a lightweight design and is weather proof and corrosion resistant.
