Samsung has re-appointed P&O Ferrymasters to deliver washing machines and refrigerators from its factory in Poland to prime markets including France, Spain and the UK.
The supply chain solutions specialist has clinched a new and bigger one-year road transport contract worth around €1.5 million for multiple daily full trailer loads to western Europe. The deal represents a doubling of volumes on the operation when the companies started working together.
P&O Ferrymasters will retain its specially recruited implant staff member at Samsung’s production site in Wronki and will also continue to co-ordinate the business from its Katowice office.
