Manufacturers and suppliers in the automotive industry can achieve significant cost savings when purchasing the Euro container range from Goplasticboxes.com.

Russell Smith, Business Development Manager for Goplasticboxes.com, commented: “Close links with our manufacturing partners in Belgium and a greater understanding of the automotive supply chain have enabled us to price our Euro box range very competitively. In some cases our Euro boxes retail up to 50% cheaper than those from more traditional UK suppliers.”

Goplasticboxes.com introduced its range of strong, durable and robust Euro containers in March. The comprehensive Euro range now consists of 35 different styles, available in both solid and perforated versions.

All containers in the Euro range are stackable, offering stability in transit. The consistent internal dimensions of the boxes make it easier to fit vacuum form

ed trays, foam inserts or welded dividers that protect valuable components during transportation from manufacturing cell to lineside. To enhance identification, Goplasticboxes.com’s Euro containers can be manufactured in a variety of colour options and printed with a company logo or message. Ticket clips and label holders are also available.

The Euro range of containers can be transported using the GoBox Pallet & Lid system which secures containers and is available in both 1,200 (L) x 1,000 (W) mm and 1,200 (L) x 800 (W) mm footprints.

Goplasticboxes.com is a division of All Pallets Ltd and together with Goplasticpallets.com, the company offers the most comprehensive range of plastic containers, pallets, trays and crates from stock in the UK.

PURE YELLOW PALLET UNVEILED AT IMHX

If you are attending this year’s IMHX exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, November 16-19, make sure you visit Goplasticpallets.com’s stand 19K127 where the company will be unveiling its pure yellow hygienic plastic pallet to illustrate the high quality colour matches it achieves working with Belgian manufacturer, IPS.

Jim Hardisty, Managing Director of Goplasticpallets.com, said: “Pure yellow is a colour that many pallet manufacturers struggle to achieve, and sadly brown/grey tints have become an industry standard. Since we introduced the first hygienic pallet to our range, we have been working closely with IPS to develop the design and colour options. The pure yellow hygienic pallet is the latest addition to our range.”

The IPS hygienic pallet is manufactured using the finest quality food grade virgin HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and has totally smooth, sealed surfaces. It can therefore be easily cleaned, manually or with an automated system.

The pallet is available from stock in two styles – a 1200mm (L) x 800mm (W) Non Perimeter version and a 1200mm (L) x 1000mm Full Perimeter version – and seven single colour options including blue, green, red, white, grey, beige and black. Businesses can now also order the pallet in pure yellow, and for orders in excess of 500 units, they can have their pallets coloured in any colour of their choice or choose from one of Goplasticpallets.com’s 84 two-colour options.

The IPS hygienic pallet is particularly popular with the food service industry. Goplasticpallets.com has received orders for the IPS Hygienic pallet from a number of major food manufacturers, including Nestlé UK, which recently ordered a total of 2,350 hygienic pallets for handling raw materials in pre-production areas. Chocolate giant Cadbury has also ordered 300 hygienic pallets for its manufacturing plant in Kenya, and Goplasticpallets.com has taken further orders from Kellogg’s and Vion Food.

Jim, added: “You only have to look at recent incidents with wooden pallets in the food and pharmaceutical industries to recognise the importance of maintaining a good level of hygiene when handling and storing goods. For example, in May, the National Consumers League in the United States put in question the safety of wooden pallets for transporting food following an examination in which wooden pallets tested positive for food-borne pathogens, including E. coli and Listeria. Similar incidents have also recently occurred in the pharmaceutical industry where a number of major medicine manufacturers have been forced to recall products because of contamination caused by a chemical used to treat wooden pallets.”

Hygienic pallets won’t be the only product on display on Goplasticpallets.com’s stand. Products from IPS will feature strongly, but also on show will be a selection of versatile pool pallets, pallets suitable for export and a variety of different containers from the GoBox range.
