UPN has appointed pallet networking expert Andrew Spencer to the Board of Directors, as it continues to grow its national network. Andrew tells us more, “I have worked in logistics for two decades in parcel and pallet sectors. In fact, I was part of the team that founded UPN in 2001. I left after four years to join another network, but followed UPN’s progress and have seen how its reputation has grown. It has gained a leadership position through its clever use of technology and developed the first real time signature capture system in the sector.
UPN recently added a business development team to work with existing depots to raise awareness and drive continued growth, so I decided to return. In the current economic climate, more and more hauliers are looking for new ways to reduce their costs and improve service. UPN offers a perfect solution.”
