Pacemaker goes national

Following the recent extension of its customer base and the continuing growth of web based retail furnishing, Pacemaker, the UK’s premier white glove, two-man home delivery operator has launched a full national service.

House of Fraser is one of the first customers to take advantage of this national rollout and Pacemaker is providing a full UK distribution service for all made to order furniture and other high-value soft furnishings. Mark Holland, Supply Chain Director at House of Fraser, has endorsed this national roll-out after being impressed by the care and professional attention to detail displayed by the Pacemaker team. “We get a cost effective, quality service, which is best in class and is helping to build House of Fraser’s reputation in the High Street,” he said.

Pacemaker will operate from a 200,000 sq ft facility in West London and four smaller partner depots at Motherwell, Cumbernauld, Mansfield and Morecambe to provide total coverage across the UK. It will provide a full logistics package of storage, movement and fitment as required.
