twentyfirst37The expansion of Reel and Shaft Handing in Bury continues with the appointment of a new Operations Manager, Tamara Skillin. Her new role will be to strengthen the structure of the company as it develops and to take it forward, whilst also offering day to day customer support.

Reel and Shaft Handling was started up in 2005 by Managing Director and Inventor, Stephen Weston. They design, develop and distribute an innovative range of reel and shaft handling machinery internationally.

Tamara joined Reel and Shaft Handling at the beginning of June. She comes from Imperial Consultants where she worked for twenty years as Operations Manager, helping to set it up and growing it to a 95 person company.

Tamara explains what attracted her to the job at Reel and Shaft, “The company has huge potential and over the next twelve months will see major expansion which I want to be a part of. I am looking forward to the challenges that this will bring and hope to use all the skills and experience I gained whilst setting up and expanding Imperial Consultants.”
Reel and Shaft’s Managing Director Stephen Weston comments, “Tamara is already enhancing the day to day running of the company. I am confident she will be a great asset in growing the company.”

Reel and Shaft plan to continue their growth by appointing a new sales person in the next month.
