Warehouse Management Systems provider Proteus Software and their client multi temperature supply chain specialist, Oakland International Limited, joined a host of other exhibitors at this year’s freight transport and logistics event, Multimodal 2009.

The PROTEUS® Inventory and Warehouse Management systems provide a fully directed paperless warehouse environment using bar codes and radio frequency terminals. The system optimises warehouse movements and provides enhanced accuracy, speed, and warehouse performance. Bar code reading facilities can be used for receipt, putaway, picking, despatch, replenishment and stock take. Users of PROTEUS® have seen their productivity rise by over 70% since implementing the system. The system provides a robust and powerful IT solution that supports the exciting growth plans of Oakland.
