linq_alliance_trailers_jpgLogistics company, Bedfords Transport, has strengthened its partnership with LinQ Alliance by adding two new dual branded trailers worth around £60k to its fleet.

Both trailers have an M&G Chassis, Mercedes Benz axels and Mirca bodies. They are 13.5 metre double flip deck trailers, which will form part of Bedfords main fleet. The trailers will help Bedfords achieve even greater flexibility in back hauling.

Bedfords is one of the 47 founder  members  of LinQ Alliance; a national logistic service provider focused on supplying cost effective supply chain management solutions.

Philip Lockwood, Commercial Director of Bedfords said: “The addition of two new liveried trailers shows our commitment to LinQ Alliance and the service we are able to offer as a member of the Group. It also increases our capacity as a general logistics provider at a time when many are reducing their fleet. Our message to anyone with a load to move is that we are here, we’re reliable and we’re more than capable.”

Bedfords Ltd is a major shareholder and founder member of the PalletFORCE network and can offer nationwide distribution for single pallets through to double deck articulated vehicle loads.

Headquartered in Leeds, the company has over 140 employees and a fleet in excess of 100 from 7.5 tonne rigids to 44 tonne articulated vehicles.
