Sika-Trocal and Brett Martin have jointly developed the Sika-Trocal Multivault, a new continuous rooflight for the single ply roofing market which is not only one of the most cost effective solutions in the sector, but is also designed with tomorrow’s tighter building regulations in mind.
The fact that Sika-Trocal is the clear number 2 in the single ply roofing sector, coupled with Brett Martin’s position as the UK’s leading rooflight manufacturer has resulted in an important product development within the flat roofing market. This is at a time when many other companies are looking to cut back in terms of product development and overall customer support.
The new Sika-Trocal Multivault is a triple skin rooflight consisting of a GRP liner, Cleartherm2 layer and single skin barrel vault outer, suitable for all standard Sika-Trocal roofing applications on both pitched and flat roofs. This rooflight has been designed to help existing contractors become more competitive in the single ply marketplace and will also provide for an eco-solution in the industrial market.
Sika-Trocal Multivault has an extremely impressive thermal performance with a U-value of 1.3 W/m2K, representing 70% better insulation value than current Building Regulation requirements, something that will make for a positive contribution to today’s eco-sheds and for tomorrows changing building regulations. Given its impressive credentials, this new roof light will enable for more natural light, resulting in lower lighting costs and a better internal environment for those people inside buildings.
