Following a successful exhibition in Bangalore, India in December 2007, JAYCEE have developed a new partnership with a major Middle Eastern battery company as first tier supplier for battery handling equipment and are also proud to announce an initial consignment to Saudi Arabia, following shipments to Dubai. As a result of this partnership, JAYCEE have been invited to exhibit at the Materials Handling Middle East exhibition in Dubai between May 31st and June 2nd 2009. On show will be the new design of the JC2 automatic battery changer, supplied by JAYCEE’S new manufacturers, which is proving to be a huge success in the European market.
Over the last twelve months JAYCEE has seen an upturn in the overseas export market and the Company is now sole supplier to a major battery company in France. The latest consignment of two JC2 battery changers will be delivered to Normandy in February 2009.
TEAM JAYCEE WIN KERRYGOLD – Closer to home, 2008 began extremely well with the installation of two battery charging areas at a new-build site for Kerrygold at Leek in conjunction with Jofson Limited (Mitsubishi forklift trucks), IBCS (batteries and chargers), and Dart Traction Limited, who provided electrical back up maintenance service for JAYCEE’S battery changing equipment.
“ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE” – The JC200 battery changer has been developed by JAYCEE. The battery changer is attached to a powered pallet truck which is manufactured under licence to JAYCEE and is capable of a lift factor of 200mm, whereas trucks worldwide only lift a maximum of 130mm. The benefit is that one mobile battery changer suits all transfer heights.
Although the UK market is experiencing tougher times, JAYCEE can look forward to 2009 with excited anticipation, having increased not only their customer base, but also their portfolio of products, to now include conveyors and fabrication of special forklift truck attachments.
