rusmail.jpgRusmail Conveyor Systems has supplied three powered belt conveyors to space management storage specialist Storage Concepts as part of an interior scheme to improve operating efficiency at a retail distribution centre. The gravity roller and power roller conveyors were installed to move boxed electrical goods to and from a 3.888m high mezzanine floor. To control the flow of boxes, the powered roller conveyor was fitted with a photo sensor control with auto restart facility.

Tim Brookes of Storage Concepts said: “Having installed a two tier mezzanine structure, we needed a conveyor which could be fed goods at three points and take them either up or down between the different levels.  We chose to work with Rusmail because we have had dealings in the past so knew the company, its products and services plus they responded quickly and gave us a competitive price.”

The combined power belt and roller system has improved onsite operations by providing the client with more operating and storage space, as well as increasing the operating efficiency of the distribution centre.
