Kuehne + Nagel, a leading global logistics provider, is supported in its business growth by the Duty Management software solution from RedPrairie Corporation, a world leading consumer driven optimisation company. The solution delays payment of all Customs duties & VAT until the latest possible time, usually after the goods leave the warehouse, enhancing Kuehne + Nagel’s ability to run bonded warehouses, a service it successfully offers to its customers.
Currently, Kuehne + Nagel runs the solution for its fast moving consumer goods and drinks logistics divisions, which are part of its Contract Logistics business. The offering has been extended to include the technology division, thus enabling electronics suppliers and manufacturers to benefit from the solution.
