To ensure a new factory at Dunstable for Honeybake Ltd could open on schedule, Hart Doors Systems manufactured and installed one Speedor Super and one Speedor Mini in just two weeks, a record for Hart. Hart’s sales manager, Julian Britnell says the two high-speed doors were required for safety and hygiene reasons for the new factory built to produce cakes and confectionary alongside its existing bread production facility.
“The Speedor Super was installed on the main loading bay entrance and the Speedor Mini was installed dividing the main warehouse from the bakery,” explains Mr Britnell.
“The Speedor Super enables the dispatch team at Honeybake to load and unload stock and deliveries fast and safely with the added advantage of keeping the warmth from the heated warehouse inside. The Speedor Mini was installed to keep temperatures in the bakery at the correct levels and stop birds and vermin as well as dust from getting into the bakery from the warehouse side.”
