hdnl-09-08-2008-300.jpgHome Delivery Network Limited (HDNL), the UK’s largest, dedicated home delivery and collection service has secured a major new contract to deliver on behalf of one of the fastest growing e-commerce retailers, asos.com. asos.com, who recently announced their sales were up 107% on last year, required a partner who could add value to the whole delivery experience. Head of Customer Logistics for asos.com Stuart Hill said: “We needed a service that had the capability to provide a consistent, visible home delivery experience.

“HDNL’s Track and Trace system is a real advantage as it allows parcel visibility to our customers. We were also impressed by their branded delivery team who will be representing and upholding the asos brand,” said Hill.

asos.com are now using HDNL’s Monday to Friday, 48 hour delivery service and Monday to Saturday next day service with Saturday deliveries being offered by asos to their customers at no extra charge.

HDNL Chief Executive Brian Gaunt commented: “asos’ continued success is built upon giving the customer what they want and we hope our service offering, in particular the next day delivery option, will support their overall proposition for ‘fast fashion’. Already we are building a strong relationship with the company.”

Launched in 2000, asos.com is the UK’s largest online fashion and beauty store, attracting over 1.5 million visitors a week. With over 19,000 products available and 1000 new lines added each week, asos.com is the online shopping destination.
