Sika-Trocal recently supported the single ply roofing category in the finals of SkillBuild, Britain’s biggest skills competition, held at Leeds College of Building on 1-3 October 2008. The overall event was part organised by ConstructionSkills and supported by roofing trade bodies SPRA and the NFRC.
Open to all 17-21 year olds currently training in construction through further education colleges or work based apprenticeships SkillBuild has proven to be a great success, especially for the winner of best single ply installer which was Troy Asbury from Licensed contractor Seeco.
