Based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, Wireless Logic is the UK’s leading specialist in M2M (machine to machine), SIM-based data communications over GPRS, 3G and HSDPA networks. Jon-Paul Clarke, Wireless Logic’s Business Development Manager, explains: “We had been looking for a partnership with a market-leading distributor in the rugged PDA sector, and Spirit proved ideal. By developing a close working relationship with them, we will be able to gain experience in this rapidly expanding market sector for cellular communications. This in turn will help us to become the market leader in the provision of M2M airtime.”
Wireless Logic works in partnership with Europe’s leading mobile data airtime providers to deliver highly competitive and reliable connectivity. The company’s client base includes major corporates, police forces and civil organisations across the UK.
As part of the new partnership agreement, Wireless Logic will provide free 30-day trial SIM cards. These will be shipped out with every hardware device supplied by Spirit. They can be easily activated and used for a host of applications, such as sending data, receiving web emails etc.
Jon-Paul continues: “The SIM cards will enable Spirit to provide their customers with a unique, ‘one stop shop’ for hardware, software and data airtime. Our solution is specifically designed to support mission-critical M2M applications and to provide specialist M2M services that aren’t available from the networks.”
