In the West Country Anglo Holt Construction has completed another specialist distribution centre representing repeat business from logistics and air and sea freight specialist Davies Turner. At Avonmouth, Bristol Anglo Holt has extended existing warehousing facilities by 6,800 m2 (73.I69 sq ft) in a 52 week, £6.6 million contract.
The design with 22 dock doors and 15.5m (50.85 ft) to underside of haunch will accommodate high bay storage of upwards of 10,000 pallets.
Commenting on the increasing levels of repeat business from the UK logistics sector, Anglo Holt director Tony Wehby referred to the relationship “glue” that bonded client and constructor as one team working towards a common vision with clarity and understanding and sharing responsibilities in delivering these latest distribution projects.
