gail.jpgKenburn Waste Management Ltd has announced the appointment of Gail Foxcroft as operations manager, marking the latest phase of the company’s restructuring programme aimed at improving customer service. Gail is responsible for streamlining all Kenburn’s administration systems, from routine office procedures to the smooth handling of customer service calls. One of Gail’s main tasks is to maximise the efficiency of the company’s field service engineers who provide nationwide maintenance and breakdown cover for around 3500 balers, compactors and other waste processing equipment throughout the United Kingdom.

Gail brings more than 20 years of systems and administration experience to the Hertfordshire based company having held similar positions in the leisure, I.T and aerospace industries.

“The operation systems here at Kenburn are already pretty good,” said Gail, “but I’ll be looking carefully at what we do and how we do it to make things even better and improve the service to our customers. In the case of our field service engineers, I’ll be looking for ways of cutting down journey times, reducing waste-miles, and improving communications, so that we can respond even more quickly when our customers need us.”

When she’s not at work Gail enjoys travelling and has recently learned to ski, although she admits it’s rather scary. She lives in Ashwell, Hertfordshire and is kept busy by the antics of her two Springer Spaniels, Merlin and Guinnie.

Kenburn is the UK Distributor for the Avermann range of horizontal balers for use in the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) and Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) sectors. The company is also UK Distributor for the Bramidan range of vertical balers which suit industries with lower volume baling requirements, including multi-site retail, catering and medical applications. Kenburn also supplies a wide range of waste compaction equipment to users across the United Kingdom.
