Movianto, the UK’s leading healthcare logistics provider, has appointed a new Head of Operations, Mark Cox. Previously Warehouse General Manager of Movianto UK, Mark’s promotion to Head of Operations gives him the responsibility for all UK operations activity comprising some 300,000 square feet of multi-user, multi-temperature, warehousing and eight UK wide transport depots. He also assumes responsibility for over 600 employees within the division.
Reporting to the Group’s UK Managing Director; Peter Bradford, Mark will oversee strategic planning, management, and reporting of the Group’s Operations division, maintaining provision for growth whilst delivering operational and cost efficiencies.
Mark was previously responsible for the operational performance of 3 multi-user warehouse operations, providing service for 70+ clients. Prior to joining Movianto in 2002 Mark was Contract Manager with Hays Technology principally managing distribution and logistics contracts on behalf of technology and mobile communication businesses.
