hyster-cemat.jpgHyster, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of materials handling equipment, together with Zeppelin, its distribution partner for Germany and a number of territories in Central & Eastern Europe, will be exhibiting at this year’s CeMAT in Germany. From 27-31 May the open-air site ‘FG’, Stand G02, will offer visitors the opportunity to view a selection of models from the full range of over 140 dependable Hyster products, built for demanding operations everywhere.

Demanding 24/7 operations
A modern logistics operation is a 24 hour business with many warehouses operating around the clock, seven days a week. Visitors to stand G02 at CeMAT will have the chance to see not only a variety of leading warehouse products, including an exciting new model, but also a new ‘Warehouse Simulator’ programme specially developed by Hyster. The simulator is a sophisticated package that enables the customer to view 2D and 3D representations of their operation allowing them to identify the optimum fleet mix for their business.

Also to be demonstrated will be the highly acclaimed C1.0, VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) machine, which boasts a number of patented features. This VNA truck offers simultaneous travel, lift, traverse and pivot control functions, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency for the warehouse.

Additionally, there will be the chance to see the popular P2.0S pallet truck and S1.0-1.6 stacker, and two of the latest J series of versatile electric counterbalanced lift trucks. The Matrix R1.6H reach truck with new reinforced mast will also be on display. Users can now store goods at 12m high, while still enjoying the ergonomic and productivity benefits of Hyster’s highly successful reach truck.

Big Truck Developments
Heading the big truck line up will be one of the latest Hyster ReachStacker models, designed to minimise overall handling costs of laden containers at ports and terminals. These machines can stack in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd row, allowing high density storage in limited space.

Hyster will also be demonstrating it’s capabilities in container storage applications, with the H16.00-22.00XM-12EC designed for handling single empty containers up to 7-high. The H22.00XM-12EC model allows 8-high stacking, with the double stacking capability offered by the double horizontal twistlocks or hooks, and side-clamp engagement systems.

For tough applications such as steel or logging yards, heavy engineering or concrete works, Hyster’s H12.00XM forklift truck on show delivers a 12 tonne lifting capacity available with either diesel or LPG power options. The latest generation of Hyster’s 8-16T range, launched in 2007, includes features such as leading ergonomics delivering excellent driver comfort, all-round visibility and low maintenance costs.

Hyster’s hugely successful Fortens range is making a significant appearance with 5 models on show spanning 1.6T to 7T capacity. The Fortens range features the electronically controlled DuraMatch™ transmission system, designed to improve performance whilst reducing operating costs and minimising operator fatigue. Key features include the Auto-Deceleration System (ADS) and controlled power reversal, which allows even the most aggressive direction changes to be smooth, reducing tyre (and brake) wear and adding to greater driver comfort.

In addition, Hyster will be showing a raised operator version of the Fortens series, designed with an elevated seating position, 500mm higher than standard Fortens trucks, to aid driver visibility when lifting taller loads. This version is available on the 2T to 5.5T capacity trucks and is ideally suited to space restricted, fast moving applications, such as bottling plants.

All Hyster distribution partners provide a network of superior local support for major account customers as well as to local companies. Working closely with local distribution partners, Hyster can provide a total package, with one of the widest selections of dependable trucks that deliver low cost of ownership, for operations across Europe.
